Ghost Rider.....
so, after hearing bad things about Ghost Rider, I went to go see it anyways, probably without as much hype as before, because I actually found it quite entertaining. *spoilers-ish* Yes, the bad guys do get destroyed a bit too easily, which is about the only thing I didn't really like about the movie, i.e., not too much action, but hey other parts kinda made up for it. */spoilers*
All in all, I think they should make a second one, but this time, focus more on action and story, it almost seemed like they rushed through this one.
PS, I think I caught the flu, damn it! =(

A year later........
Finally finished watching lunch queen. Subbers took a while to finish subbing, and I wasn't really looking, but now that I found the last 3 episodes, I have finished it. Awesome drama, there's a few touching moments, yes, I teared. I want to have lunch in Japan, let's go!

Happy Chinese New Year, yes, I know it's the third day of the New Pig Year, but I haven't been blogging, so =). Anyways, this year can be considered somewhat special. It is the Year of the Pig, and I, being born in the year of the Pig, will be turning 24. It is nothing special really, just that I have to wait 12 years before its the Pig year again. haha..yes, geeky.
This Year, Chinese New Year actually fell on a long weekend, and not only that, it fell on reading week, if only I had known this earlier, and if only I have $2,000 stashed away, I would've went home for CNY, but I guess it is not meant to be, really miss spending CNY in Brunei. The atmosphere and everything is just different. Although a few friends here do celebrate it, the atmosphere and feel just isn't there. But I enjoyed the first 2 days of CNY this year nontheless. It was a lot better than the last couple of years =). Come CNY also come feasts, and red pocket money heh heh, that's always Jawesome!.
Now, What is jawesome you ask? I quote; "Jawesome is so jaw dropping awesome, hence its JAWESOME". Only someone as geeky as chuck can think of something like that, but heck, its really catchy, and I will use it of course.
Movies I am Hoping to watch:
Ghost Rider --> friday is the slotted time apparently
TMNT--> how can anyone say no?
300! --> Hiromi's Bday as well
Spiderman 3 --> it'll be jawesome like always
Meet the Robinsons --> the trailer looked really funny
Transformers --> I am as excited as i am afraid of dissapointment
hmm, i think that's all i think of right off the bat, I'll add more as we go along.
So, now, on the the Oilers. It's so hard and frustating to watch their games, as much as I want to see them win, their dissapointing losses actually makes me feel =(, and not a lot of things makes me =(. But alas, I will believe in them! they maybe about 9 points out of playoff contention, there's still a bit time left. Urge them on fellow Oilers fan, urge them on, no matter how they do, STAND BY THEM!
To close off, Have a wonderful Chinese New Year everyone, Hope You all Good Health and Prosperity!

What is it with all these snow? haha...its like they were saving it all throughout winter and just felt like dumping it all down these few days....ok, it might not be as much as we've seen the last few years, but still, snow! argh! haha...i think i am living in the wrong city/country if i complain this much..lol.
But then again, I like watching snow fall, just don't like interacting with it! "what the deuce?" you must've asked yourself, haha, but hey just cause i like watching snow doesn't mean i like walking or driving in them nor shovelling them (or lack of).
Gridiron Gang
I guess I am a sucker for *based on a true inspirational story* movie. It was actually quite entertaining, there's really a team-feeling when you watch this. Being in a team, standing up for teamates. Gung HO! The rock is actually improving quite well as an actor, very powerful performance!
Step up
Yes, here we go, another chick flick that I saw. The Dancing and soundtrack to this movie was actually quite good, storyline was a bit predictable, but hey, that goes for a lot of movies. You just have to take it for what it is worth. Good movie nonetheless.
2 movies i saw over the weekend, actually saw telledega nights too, but i saw that once before already, so i guess it semi counts? haha
Such a lazy day today, but got my accounting lifa labs done, research done. I think it's still snowing out there, but i am not too sure actually. I think i should check upstairs once in a while.

Ever picked a movie for a bunch of friends to see, and end up really regretting choosing it? well guess what I won't be doing anymore, no longer will I make any suggestions if no one wants to decide. Now, I've heard the infamous "Time Machine" story of Thomas, I really know what he feels now. hahaha, why did I make the same mistake? Although I think my choice of movie was way worse than his. Do I want to even name this movie? It's too embarrassing to even name it. And Thomas, no, it's not what you are thinking, so dont even comment on it.
This Sunday is a really lazy sunday. Woke up at like 930, didn't do much, did the usual surfing and what not, had breakfast. Oh, I got Phoenix Wright 2 to save on the DS, so now i've been playing that. hehehe! Also did some school work and surprisingly added in cleaning my room as one of my completed task. Felt really really bored the whole day, guess that's what i get for staying home, but it kinda felt good though, refreshed and re-energized. Saw The Covenant, cool concept, but kinda lacking. Story line has the potential, but the delivery could've been better. But overall, a good rental/download movie.
After writing all those quizzes last week. The real stuff is coming up, in three weeks. So I guess it's time to start hitting the books again real soon. With some preliminary project stuff due soon, gotta have to start doing those things too.
Chinese New years is upon us. Going to a CSC Chinese New Year's banquet thing on the 16th, that should be interesting. Chinese New Year's eve is on 17th and Chinese New Year this year actually falls on a long weekend, and on top of that, it's reading week, so I get one whole week off too. Sigh, if only I get to go back home, really miss chinese new year back home. Without even realizing it, this is the 6th chinese new year i've spent here. The atmosphere is nothing compared to brunei or any asian country, and that's one thing i really miss. So we'll see how this year is.
Well, back to the first thing i posted about, if anyone even last reading this far, the movie is "Epic Movie", please dont even spend money on this movie, this is the absolute worst decision of my life, well...not worst, but it's a pretty bad choice of a movie....i fail =(. Sorry to the other 2 people who had to sit through it with me.... =.=;;
