My woes with saving money persists, and the reason? I made a little simple mistake, going shopping with a friend. Most people who knows me know that I am quite the impulsive shopper, if I see something I like, and the price is right, I would usually snag it and buy it, and which is why I have so many clothing in my closet.

As in my last blog, I am a Dom Rebel fan and there were some pieces left from their spring collection that were floating around and is on sale. I went into a store last Saturday, and this piece was staring at me, telling me to try it on.

This is the back of the shirt.

And this is the front. Vulgar, I know, but awesome!

So that was the purchase I made at the first store, went to another store, and saw this T-shirt that was on sale, I've been eyeing it for quite some time now and had always wanted it. So now that it is on sale, I quickly tried it on, and decided to buy it. It is a piece from Kid Robot.

Kid Robot Ninja!!

A friend of mine just got back from her Tokyo, Japan trip and this is what she bought me!!!

That's right, HADOUKEN!!

Some of my friends know me really well and know that I am nothing but a geek on the inside. Then again, I am as much of a geek on the inside as I am on the outside, and I am damn proud of it!

Next weekend, when I go back to Edmonton, is supposedly when the Dom Rebel Fall/Winter collection gets released! So, there'll be more money spending, but at least it'll be brand new stuff and it is justified as I have made a commitment beforehand about this and won't feel bad(actually, depending on which piece I buy, it might become quite expensive, gulp)

I am also starting a little Blu-Ray Collection, so far, it consists of True Blood Season 1 and Transformers 1. But it'll slowly grow. I love watching movie in HD now, don't think I can go back to crappy cinema filmed pirated copies. I am a collector of things and love original stuff, but that is a little price I pay I guess.

Anyways, that's all I have for now, until next time.

The reason why I can't save money all too well. I am sure a lot of us have pondered about that from time to time.

For me, I think it is my inability to stop spending money. GAH!

Vacations:
In 2009, I've already been to a couple places which were at the top of my list the last little bit.

January - Hongkong, Shenzhen, and Tokyo
March - Montreal
June - Vancouver (a re-visit)

I used to think that vacation is all about shopping and walking around and partying! But the more places I go to, the more I've come to appreciate the sights and sounds of the place. Be it the natural settings or the man made buildings. I've learned to appreciate looking and examining and soaking up the atmosphere more than the shopping and the constant partying.

I am sure before the year is over, I would make more impulsive decision to visit some other places( I always do >.<).

February 2010, I will be making a trip back to Brunei. It has been almost 5 years since I've been back there, marking it the longest time I've been away from home. I truly miss the family and friends there along with the food. Now here's my dilemma, since I am taking time off to go back, and I dont go back that way often enough, should I stay there for 2 weeks and then make a trip to Austalia? or to Hongkong which is on the way home. I've been to HongKong and its a nice place and cheap, and I would have a place to stay, but I've been there. Australia would be expensive, but I've never been there and always wanted to go there too, but I also have friends there. So there's some thinking to do and some planning to be done!

But in any case, if i want to see more of the world, I will have to save up money, and I need to save up a lot too. So here's to hoping to save money! Starting from debt zero.

It's that time again!

Good Morning!

I would like to say that, I think I am officially a Dom Rebel Whore-ish!

What is Dom Rebel you ask? They are a brand by designers from Montreal Canada. Now, Canada isn't really known to be the fashion capital of the world, and we haven't really have too much stylish stuff coming out from this country. When my friend(Chalez) introduced me to this brand, I quickly become very intrigued by it. They are unlike Affliction, Ed Hardy or Christian Audigier. These t-shirts are more stylish, bold, and vulgar than these Ed Hardies or Christian Audigiers. I am the proud owner of three t-shirts from them, 2 from the same line, 1 from an older line. Chalez and I have each made a commitment to purchase two pieces from their fall line which will debut in the beginning of August. When I get them, I'll post pics up!

Currently, I am reading "I hope they serve beer in hell" - Tucker Max. Have you ever read a book, where you have to stop and catch your breath from laughing? Well, that's what this book did to me, the guy is an asshole, but he is a freaking hilarious asshole! I seriously don't know how he gets away by writing such incriminating stories! If you haven't heard about him, google him right away cause its almost damn priceless!

My two new toys that i purchased this past weekend:

Hitachi Ultravision 42 inch Plasma HDTV
Acer Aspire One Netbook.

So now, I am Poor. Period.
