Yes, it has been more than three weeks since I’ve last written anything on here. The reason being, I’ve moved out from my uncle’s place and now living by myself. Do not have Internet set up yet, so can’t really go online at night, and that’s something I’ve missed doing. Why do I not write it at work you ask? Well you see, work has been uber busy and did not find any down time to type anything.

Updates?

Without even as much as flinching, 24 days of 2008 has already gone by. What have I accomplished in these 3 weeks or so aside from moving out? Well, I’ve worked quite a bit, made my first trip to Fort McMurray, which I shall elaborate later, made some progress regarding something I will not mention here. But all I can say is I’ve been happy how things have turned out thus far; there’s still more work to be done but I hope things turn out the way I hope it to be.
Some of the movies I’ve seen since last time:
Alvin and the Chipmunks
National Treasure 2
Sweeny Todd --> This was actually a gory musical, I didn’t expect the darkness that came with the movie, it was quite amazing.

The latest celebrity gossip out there is right now is the death of heath ledger. When I heard about that, first thing I thought of was, shit, that brokeback mountain actor died, then after talking to a friend, it dawned on me that Heath Ledger is also the new Joker for the Batman movie! So that movie would be his latest greatest, wonder what they are going to do with it.

I spent my last weekend at Fort McMurray for work. Let’s just say I don’t think I can work up there long term, it’s just not for me, I’ll get so depressed up there. So hopefully I just have to go a couple times a month and I’ll be happy. All you see there is a lot of workers and a lot of building and steel structure, although its quite cool though, both figuratively and literally.

My beloved Edmonton Oilers has done it again, they’ve gone from winning 4 straight, to winning once in last 5 games? Its sad that everytime we take one step forward, we have to take two back. Consistency is the main issue of them this year. Confidence and morale is probably low for them right now. I hope something changes and we somehow go on a streak.

Some things I’ve wanted to work on for myself is to not think too much into things. Thinking too much, either positively or negatively will sometimes result in undesirable things happening.

Trust yourself, trust your capabilities, trust in what you have done, and trust in someone else. Be confident!

One of the songs from the Killer’s new album. Tranquillize. I like it quite a bit actually.

One of the new discoveries that my friend supplied me http://www.crunchyroll.com , I think that’s one of the most productivity killing website out there. Streaming anime and Japanese drama, that is for the win really.

Happy New Year....
And just like a gust of wind, 2007 has ended and now is the start of 2008. What new adventures would this year bring? I guess we'll find out exactly a year from now when I do this post again ^.^

The year that was.....
Some major things that happened in 2007 ( if I can remember them all):
- Got into my first major car accident, I wasn't driving though mind you
- Got new crowns for a little mishap back in December 06
- Got my Management diploma after deciding to go back to school for one more year
- Got my working visa signed for 2 years and now have a job
- Worked/helped out at some festivals in Edmonton: Taste of Edmonton, Folk Festival, Fringe
- A trip to Vancouver in the summer with some friends
*More to be added when I remember them*
*EDIT*
- Went to my first stand up comedy show at Comic Strip
- Drove to Vancouver in my own car for the first time, it was fun driving the mountains

2007 went by in flash for me, there are so many things that I think I did, but they are mostly just little things and what not. I definitely partied a lot more this year than all my other years combined. I guess sometimes there is stuff to do in Edmonton besides dream tea house. Just Jokes. But honestly though, I am glad that I blog sometimes so I can go back to the archives and read what I wrote about.

New Years Eve celebration was done at Courtyard Marriott, and it was fun. That's all I think I can say about that....it was a long night...but fun nonetheless.

Happy New Year and hope 2008 will bring to us all some sort of adventure!
