The weekend proved to be more eventful than I would've thought. Went to dragon's head par 3 golf course on friday, I started out pretty good, and then on the 5th and 6th hole, I lost like 5 balls and my game went downwards!! =( damn water and trees...i shall conquer you!!

Saturday went to two friend's going away party and another friend's bachelor party, so that was kinda hectic yet fun....

Sunday we went to Calgary to catch the last day of the Stampede, it was quite fun, water ride was refreshing from the intense heat. And on our way back, there was a thunderstorm, i was half expecting a tornado because of the hot day we just had. Driving a Ford Explorer and having strong wind blowing from the side isn't the easiest to control as I've came to experience...i'll stick with my compact car..hehe

Today, I'll start heloing a friend out for Taste of Edmonton, it is set up day and the first day starts tomorrow. Korean Village =)

Ohh...I kinda started reading the 6th book again on friday, just for fun, I only intended to read parts of it to remind myself what happened, and without any notice, I finish reading the whole book yesterday....and now I seriously can't wait for the 7th book..so many questions to be answered still.... yes, you may call me a geek =)

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix

On Tuesday night, well, more like early Wednesday Morning, we saw Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. It was the first midnight screening for any movie that I've been to, and moreover, it was HARRY POTTER, so I was extra excited! Got to the teather at 9.30PM, to join a couple of friends who were already lining up. There were already 60+ ppl lined up infront of us, I wonder what time they started lining up at. 2.5 hours of lining up is the most I've done for any movie, I remember lining up for 1.5 hours for Transformers and Pirates of Carribean II.

Anyways, the movie. I personally liked it, however, I thought they could've done a better job, they made it almost like there is no flow to the storyline, maybe it's cause I read the book and is extra biased. I am sure they did the best they could to accomodate everything in the book. The movie is still good nonetheless, we saw it on IMAX, so the last 20 mins was in 3D, which was cool!

Interview went well I think, however, I was supposed to get a call back today, but I never did. So, me trying to be more proactive in things, decided to call them to check. They didn't have a decision yet and the person said he'll call me in a couple of hours, which he never did, so if anything i'll get a call tomorrow, hopefully. Sigh....things were looking up, and then now......

Edmonton Oilers signed Sheldon Souray to a 5 years 27 Million deal today, I was very happy to see such a big signing by the Oilers, now I am very excited for this coming season!!
!!!Go Edmonton Oilers Go!!!

Currently listening to 手放开, haha, such a good song, just so happens that its playing on my playlist now....

So, I've been lazy and not blogging. What gives? haha, at this point, there's way too many stuff that happen to do a play by play...So we'll just leave that.

Marketing Project is due on Saturday, I am doing the compiling of our work, and I don't have the drive to do anything right now, I wonder why that is, haha. I blame it on the nice summer days. However, at times, it got a little too hot here that I just want to stay indoors and hide from the sun. Example, On Thursday, it was about 32 degrees out, and since my uncle is cleaning out the garage, I can't park my car inside. And it was just outside the whole day. When it was time for me to go to class, opened the car door, and holy shit, its like an oven in there, black car and summer is not that good of a combination >.<

Saw a lot of movies lately/this week...
Last Saturday- Ratouile(sp?)
Wednesday- Transformers
Friday- Live free or Die Hard
Saturday- Knocked up
Next Tuesday midnight- Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix

Having said that, I think I pretty much watched my "must watch" list for the summer, the rest of the movies, are a to watch, but not a must watch basis, if you get what I mean.

Will be helping out a friend for Taste of Edmonton, it should be fun...and hot..haha..Edmonton Summer.

One of my Uncles said he is going to send my resume to a company in Singapore, I wouldn't mind if a job opportunity comes up there, its close to home, however, that would defeat the purpose of me trying to stay here, so we shall see what happens. Nothing might even happen actually.

Job situation is still a work in progress, applying to more and trying to follow-up with them more too...

That's all for now =)
