When you start counting down the days you are going home, that is when you know you are starting to get sick of being away.
Including today, there are 3 more days before i go back to Edmonton for a good 4 days break. Really looking forward to it, and hopefully, this time around, the weather would actually cooperate with me. I really want to hit some golf balls; it has been a while since I've swung a golf club. Getting jittery just thinking about it.
The countdown for Vegas has officially begun, there are 18 more days to go before the highly anticipated trip! And I've gotten word that my aunt in UK will be joining us. haha, this trip has just became more interesting.
My blog is lacking pictures as of late, I blame this on my desktop kinda going kaplunk on me, and the software for my phone is in there. I'll have to install that to my uber-ancient-almost-extinct laptop at home and hopefully it will work. Have to find a card reader for my digital camera so that I can import pics onto my uber-ancient-almost-extinct laptop too, I think there are quite a bit in there.
Movies which are coming out this summer I would like to check out:
- Ironman
- Indiana Jones
- Speed Racer
- Incredible Hulk
- Wanted
- Get Smart
- The Dark Knight
Wonder how many of those I can actually watch seeing how I am up on Fort McMurray so much. I am getting really sick of the eggs/sausage/beans/toast breakfast, it can't be healthy eating all those early in the morning everyday. So today, I changed that, had a croissant, oatmeal, and oranges for breakfast. I will be really hungry really soon, but I think I will gut it out, for the sake of health and losing some weight.
I don't get to watch Beckham =(. I will be in fort McMurray that week and don't come back till the Thursday after Beckham. So I dont get to watch him play. It's ok, I will get other chances I think. Then again, that week that I go back, will be the week I fly off to VEGAS! muhahahahahaha

Yes, I am still alive…..
Hmm, I guess I’ve really been busy since I totally forgot that I do have a blog, and I haven’t been writing in it much.
Perhaps I’ll be writing on it more on here soon enough. I am apparently starting my shift schedule for the site next week. Up until now, I’ve been travelling back and forth each week, and frankly, that’s too tiring, even for me. So yeah. I am going to take this as a good way to learn things as I still have ways to go. It will be a fun experience I think. The camp I’ll be staying at isn’t the best one there, but I guess when I get used to it, it’s not too bad.
Aside from work, I’ve been really not up to much, just chilling, relaxing and trying to save up money to spend in Las Vegas. So far, that’s going well, I want to keep that up. Last week took a hit because of the amount of bills I had to pay, but that will be taken care of. When I go up to site, I don’t spend money, so from there, I should be able to save a lot. Also, the lack of using my car would cut down on gas severely.
If I do get a raise for going on site, then there are a few things I have my eyes on, and these include:
• A flat screen Plasma HDTV- Perhaps a sharp Aqueos - $1099
• PS3 40G- $399.99
• Desktop Computer
• Dresser for room
• Some furniture for the living room; Coffee table
• Things to hang on the wall
• Kitchen supplies
• Couch
• Etc
Now mind you, I won’t be buying these all in one go, cause that would be quite the hit, it’ll be over the days. Right now, my place is just too plain. I need to make it more homelike. But to do that, it’ll take some planning and budgeting. Mike will learn to do that and will succeed (hopefully)
That is my plan for the next couple months.
As of now, the money I am saving will be used in Vegas, so excited for the trip! Shopping wise, hmm, let’s try a list:
• True Religion Jeans
• William Rast Jeans(if they are cheap enough)
• Ralph Lauren Polo
• Burberry scarf and polo
• Christian Audigier wallet(maybe); else a Gucci clip
• Anything that I like and can get my hands on.
We also booked tickets for KA already, which is a cirque du soleii (sp?) performance.
