Only a couple days left...
before I finish yet another shift. This would be my third shift up here and I guess I can say that I've somewhat settled down over here. Gotten used to my routine, this shift has definitely gone by a lot quicker than other shifts. Before I know it, the weekend is gone and I am on the homestretch.
One sucky thing though,
Today is a statutory Holiday, Heritage days in Alberta or better known as Civic Holiday in BC. However, this time around, I am spending it up here on site at work. I think this is the first statutory holiday where I have I have to work. Then again, this doesn't feel any more different than a weekend for me, cause this is how I spend my days up here anyways, when I am at work, I try and not think about what I could've been doing and what not, so as far as I am concerned, this is just another day in the books!
Not much else is happening, leading a boring life when I am at work. Working the morning, then just watch tv or sleep at night. Still working on Prison Break season 1, watching that show really makes me realize that; no matter how much you plan, not everything will go according to plan. Things usually happen to sabotage what you have planned out, that's one thing that won't change.
Bank account is looking healthy again, however, when I go back this turnaround, I have to pay a bill that's going to be $400+. Gulp, that'll take a chunk off my savings again and set me back a little bit. But having to be up here at the Fort, really helps replenish my funds fast. I get two paycheques by the time I go back for my days off. And I swear, its not hard to figure out which days I am in camp and which days I am in town A sudden spike in money spent would mean I am in town.
But I will be cutting down on that too. with the attempts of saving money for my trip and all the big purchases I plan on getting. Save Save Save.
I know this is going to be a dull and mundane entry.
I lack creative genius nor do I strive to make this blog creative. Its just a place for me to write stuff down and kill time.
